Surrey Sports Park
Guildford, Great Britain
Player accommodation package
Similarly to Worlds 22, we want to create an experience where all players sleep, eat and play on-site. Players will be able to book an all-in package which will include accommodation in the athlete village and breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Accommodation
We are pleased to share that each country will have access to the following number of rooms:
All of their playing squad
Two non-playing official support staff
Four additional individual rooms
Rooms are a mixture of individual en-suite rooms (single bed with private bathroom, including shower) and shared bathroom houses. Both accommodations include a shared kitchen with 6-8 other rooms.
All rooms are fully furnished with a bed, desk and chair, reading lamp, bookshelf and storage for clothes.
All kitchens are equipped with a cooker, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board.
There will be a shuttle bus from Stag Hill accommodation to the venue.
Accommodation (shared or ensuite rooms and location) will be randomly allocated across all countries. All members from the same country delegation will be located together.
Rooms cost £ 79/ € 93/ $ 101 per night (including food) and can be booked from either Wednesday 28th August or Thursday 29th of August to September 1st.
Unfortunately, this price is higher than previously communicated since there were unexpected taxes added to the accommodation cost that caused the final price to be higher than British Roundnet projected.
Deadline for NGBs is July 21st. Once all NGBs have completed, we will release any remaining rooms for booking via a separate form.
There is no option for late checkout or early check in.
Catering
Food is included in the room cost.
There is NO catering only package - you must be staying on site booking one of the rooms above to access the catering - Players that do not stay on site will not be able to benefit from the catering package.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is included within the cost of the room.
Lunch will always be provided at the venue (Surrey Sports Park), but Breakfast and Dinner may be served at your accommodation location depending on final room numbers.
Only dinner will be served on Wednesday 28th of August. Breakfast and Lunch will be served on Sunday September 1st.
You will be given more information on the location and menu closer to the time and in your athlete information pack upon arrival.
The four additional rooms allocated to each NGB will be included in the catering offering, meaning the additonal spots for each NGB will include both accommodation and food.
Regretfully, we cannot reduce the accommodation cost for those staying at on site accommodation but not being catered for. This is due to the group booking system that enables everyone to benefit from the great price.
To book your rooms
NGBs must elect a lead booker who will purchase all accommodation for the entirety of their players, support staff and additional rooms.
We will circulate a google form in due course to book your rooms. You must have details of every person you wish to book for, including full name, home address, telephone number and passport number ready to input. At the end of the form, it will tell you how much your booking party owes in accommodation costs.
You will then be sent a specific payment link that all rooms must be paid through at once.
